Bas-X opens new branch in Western Australia

Bas-X takes great pleasure in announcing the appointment of Liona Ripley to open and manage their new branch in Western Australia.

With over 25 years retail experience both in operational and executive management, and a complete understanding of the complexities inherent to retailing in WA, Liona will ensure Bas-X customers enjoy the highest level of advice, service, and support.

We are so pleased to have Liona join us at such an opportune time as retailers face up to the challenges of change. Lionas experience and knowledge from warehousing right through to stores point of sale systems will be an invaluable asset to us and our customers” said Tony Wilder Bas-X Managing Director .

Liona will work closely with the retailers and the major industry groups including Metcash, IGA and Farmer Jacks/FoodWorks, and the retail technology suppliers in Western Australia. This is to ensure the highest standards of service and to bring an awareness of the benefits that Bas-X Software and IT services can bring to retailers.   

Liona’s initial role will be to ensure the smooth implementation of the Bas-Xplus group management system at the Supermarkets West group who operate some twenty stores in Western Australia. Bas-Xplus is to replace the groups current hosting system so they can better implement their strategies for pricing, promotions, ranging, and also to provide for their reporting and BI (business intelligence) needs.
