Liona will work closely with the retailers and the major industry groups including Metcash, IGA and Farmer Jacks/FoodWorks, and the retail technology suppliers in Western Australia. This is to ensure the highest standards of service and to bring an awareness of the benefits that Bas-X Software and IT services can bring to retailers.
Liona’s initial role will be to ensure the smooth implementation of the Bas-Xplus group management system at the Supermarkets West group who operate some twenty stores in Western Australia. Bas-Xplus is to replace the groups current hosting system so they can better implement their strategies for pricing, promotions, ranging, and also to provide for their reporting and BI (business intelligence) needs.
