Bas-X Golf Day Champions
05.08.09The annual Bas-X Golf Day was held at Hope Island on Wednesday 15th July.
Ten brave souls backed up after the IGA Expo Gala Dinner to compete in the annual Bas-X Golf Championship. The first group hit off at 8.12am on a frosty morning.
Eventually the winning team was Kim Chounding, Peter Chounding and Richard Beale. Kim also won one of the nearest to the pin awards with Athol White winning the other.
The longest drive awards went to Evan Carwood and Tony Wilder. Everyone enjoyed a cold drink and bbq lunch on their arrival back at the club house.
Every one managed to stay out of the water this year.
