A New Retail Management System for Independents.

Over the last four years the team at Bas-X have quietly gone about researching, designing, and developing a new retail management system.

This new purpose built system will give independent retailers access to the latest technologies to considerably improve sales and margin performance as well as significantly reduce their cost of operating a successful business in today’s ever demanding retail environment.

We’ve achieved this by automating many of the manual retail processes and workflows and adopting a fresh approach to the traditional design of a group office system (GOS), a back office system (BOS), and the point of sale (POS).

The new system, to be launched later this year incorporates the very latest in database design and network technology. Along with our adoption of global standards for retail technology (ARTS), it provides seamless management and synchronisation of all business information systems including sales, customers, sites, inventory, suppliers, employees, online shop, digital media, and document management; with the financial accounts.

Normally systems like this - a complete retail ERP system, a first for independents - would be prohibitively and excessively expensive for any independent retailer’s budget. However advances in open standards based technology, and the skills gained from many years of service in the industry has allowed us to design and deliver a Tier-One solution at a very affordable and more than competitive price.

The many dynamic features are unmatched in any system available today. Our promise to you is simple; we will help you to;

  • Considerably improve sales and margins
  • Significantly reduce operating costs
  • Automate shrink control through fine grained audit trail and track’n’traceability
  • Put you back in control by seamlessly synchronising your retail operations to your financial systems

"The most successful businessman is the man who holds onto the old just as long as it is good, and grabs the new just as soon as it is better." — Robert P. Vanderpoel
