Not only has the look of Bas-XPlus changed, but so too has the reporting interface. Users now have the ability to save templates of their most used reports - saving time and ensuring consistency of reporting across time. To make life even easier, these reports can be automatically generated and sent automatically to an infinite number of email addresses - now you can receive your reports anywhere you have access to your email, even on your Blackberry or Iphone.
Finally, and perhaps most significantly, the new reporting module can now use "calculated fields". Any retailer that uses MS Excel because the reporting data from their system is not exactly what they need will be familiar with Excel's use of formulas to calculate the value of fields. The next version of Bas-XPlus has the same ability to apply formulas to data fields and then be saved as a templated report. This eliminates the need to create a report and then export it into Excel to obtain the report you require.
