At last some good news on our progress with IGA Vendor Accreditation.

Following a request from an IGA retailer operating five stores here in Qld, the IT&I Committee who are charged with accrediting vendors has granted permission for them to trial the new Bas-X system in a proof of concept (POC) exercise.

The trial will not only include our cloud based, single database ERP (back office) system but also our new POS (point of sale) system which has been wholly developed in house and guaranteed to set new benchmarks for POS performance and manageability.

The trial will cover all retail operations including;

1. Hosted “cloud based” back office
2. Single database (back office) for multiple stores
3. Android App for wireless mobile operations
4. The New BasXPOS (point of sale)
5. Central management of sites, staff, customers, inventory, merchandising, equipment, and incorporated applications including;
   • Customer Loyalty
   • Reporting B.I.
   • OCR – supplier invoice scanning through inventory to accounting
6. Accounting integration;
   • Sales receipts
   • Debtors
   • Supplier purchases and claims
   • Payments

We’ve already established potential savings of over 30% on a like for like basis to some of our competitor system.
